All South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging centers are created to be a permanent fixture in the communities in which they operate. To that end, each of our independent diagnostic imaging centers is staffed and operated at a local level. Talented professionals are employed to provide the best quality services to their own communities.

Referring Physicians
South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging provides a superior level of medical imaging services to help referring physicians deliver the best possible treatment and patient care. Our radiologists pride themselves on providing responsive service to our referring providers. Reports are generated within 24 hours and are available to referring physicians through our online radiology information services.
Our professional and caring staff also recognizes when a patient visits our imaging centers they may be worried or anxious about their health and the procedure itself. Patient comfort and convenience is paramount as well as sensitivity to the individual needs of each patient.
Referral Forms, Reports & Images, Appointments
We're here to assist you! Results are available to referring physicians by clicking on the appropriate Provider Access button that is located on each page of our site. If you are interested in obtaining access to online reports and images and do not have a login, or if you're in need of more referral forms, your Marketing Manager can assist you. Our scheduling staff is available Monday – Friday to schedule your patient exams.

South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging offers a full range of imaging services with board-certified physicians, certified technologists, service-oriented staff and state-of-the-art imaging technologies. All diagnostic imaging procedures must be recommended by your physician and require a physician order. Your physician's office staff can assist you with your appointment or you can schedule your procedure directly with us.

Our diagnostic imaging services use the latest technology, including CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, diagnostic X-ray, and screening mammography. South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care in diagnostic imaging services.

Appointments

If your doctor has recommended you have a diagnostic imaging test such as an X-ray, MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, or mammogram, a South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging center is your first choice for accuracy, dependability, ease and convenience.

Services include:
Arthrography is the x-ray examination of a joint that uses fluoroscopy and a contrast material.
A computed tomography scan (CT or CAT scan), is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses a combination of x-rays and computer technology to produce cross-sectional images (often called slices) of the body. A CT scan shows detailed images of the body, including the bones, muscles, and organs. CT scans are more detailed than general x-rays.
The latest advancement in the early detection of breast cancer, new digital capabilities will enable the technologist to immediately view mammogram images, thereby reducing the amount of time spent in the imaging suite and the need for re-examination.
A MRI is a diagnostic procedure that uses a large magnets, radio frequency pulses and a computer to produce detailed images of organs and structures within the body
An ultrasound, also called sonography, is a diagnostic imaging technique that uses a small transducer (probe) and ultrasound gel to expose the body to high-frequency sound waves to create images of blood vessels, tissues and organs. Ultrasounds are used to view internal organs real-time to assess function and blood flow through various vessels.
An X-ray is a diagnostic test uses small doses of radiation to produce images of internal tissues, bones and organs onto film.
