All South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging centers are created to be a permanent fixture in the communities in which they operate. To that end, each of our independent diagnostic imaging centers is staffed and operated at a local level. Referring Physicians
South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging provides a superior level of medical imaging services to help referring physicians deliver the best possible treatment and patient care. Our radiologists pride themselves on providing responsive service to our referring providers. Reports are generated within 24 hours and are available to referring physicians through our online radiology information services.
Our professional and caring staff also recognizes when a patient visits our imaging centers they may be worried or anxious about their health and the procedure itself. Patient comfort and convenience is paramount as well as sensitivity to the individual needs of each patient.
Referral Forms, Reports & Images, Appointments
We're here to assist you! Results are available to referring physicians by clicking on the appropriate Provider Access button that is located on each page of our site. If you are interested in obtaining access to online reports and images and do not have a login, or if you're in need of more referral forms, your Marketing Manager can assist you. Our scheduling staff is available Monday – Friday to schedule your patient exams.

South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging offers a full range of imaging services with board-certified physicians, certified technologists, service-oriented staff and state-of-the-art imaging technologies. All diagnostic imaging procedures must be recommended by your physician and require a physician order. Your physician's office staff can assist you with your appointment or you can schedule your procedure directly with us.

Our diagnostic imaging services use the latest technology, including CT scan, MRI, ultrasound, diagnostic X-ray, and screening mammography. South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care in diagnostic imaging services.

Appointments

The call center is open Monday through Thursday 7:30-6:00 and Friday 7:30-4:00 EST. Online payments can be made using Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

When your doctor recommends a diagnostic imaging test such as an MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammogram or X-ray, you have a choice where that test is performed. At South Carolina Diagnostic Imaging, we are dedicated to ensuring that you have an outstanding patient experience. We are committed to providing convenient, high quality radiology services at a price you can afford.

Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available for patients who receive medically necessary services and meet the eligibility requirements under the policy. If eligible for financial assistance, patients will receive a 100 percent discount or free care. The financial assistance program does not cover elective services.

Am I eligible?
In order to qualify for financial assistance, all of the following conditions must be met:
The patient must be uninsured or, in certain circumstances, have limited insurance coverage
The patient must be unable to access other programs that would cover medical expenses
The patient's annual family income must be no more than 300 percent of the current year Federal Poverty Guidelines
The patient must not have substantial cash assets
The patient must not have declined health insurance through an employer
The patient must not be ineligible for government sponsored coverage because of noncompliance with requirements
The service must be considered medically necessary (generally defined as urgent or emergent)
The patient must reside within a 25-mile radius of the facility where services are rendered
The completed application and all supporting documentation must be submitted to the Patient Account Services department, during the applicable time period, for review and approval

How do I apply?
Applications are available in English and Spanish. A copy of the Financial Assistance Policy and an application may be obtained by:
Calling the toll-free Customer Service number at 877-250-9871
Calling the toll-free Customer Service number on the front of your statement and requesting the Financial Assistance Application (copies will be mailed at no charge)
Visiting the facility where services were rendered

How will I know if I have been approved?
Once all requested documents are received, the application will be reviewed. An approval or denial letter will be mailed to each applicant. The Financial Assistance Application and documentation must be updated every six months, or when the patient's income or other key circumstances change. Each visit within the six month period is subject to be reviewed.

Exclusions:
This policy does not apply to services rendered by independent physicians or practitioners that are not employed by Novant Health. This includes, but is not limited to, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and pathologists.

No individual who is eligible for financial assistance will be charged more than amounts generally billed for emergency or other medically necessary care to individuals who have insurance covering such care.
